Winter Haven and the Chain of Lakes area has a particular pattern: people buy an RV for the lake season, use it for two, and then it becomes the thing taking up half the driveway.
We see a lot of towables here — travel trailers and fifth wheels bought for weekends at the lakes and the Legoland-area parks. They tend to be newer and lightly used, which is exactly the inventory that moves fastest and prices best.
Our buying lot is in Davenport, about 30 minutes south. Most sellers drive in, get inspected and leave paid inside an hour.
On towables the roof decides the number. Send four photos and the model year — that alone gets you close to a real figure.
TAKES 2 MINUTESIf you sold the truck or never had one, that's fine. We tow it from the driveway or the lake-area storage lot ourselves.
OFFER ON THE SPOTSigned, towed and paid. The driveway is yours again by evening.
PAID SAME DAYDavenport is half an hour north, but most Winter Haven sales never require you to hitch anything. Towables get picked up from the driveway or the lake-area storage lot at no cost to you. Bring the title if you're driving in; if we're coming out, have it ready and that's the whole job.
Backyard on the grass with no tow vehicle anywhere in sight. We brought the truck; the driveway was clear that evening. It wasn't cleaned up for the picture.
The owner watched from the porch. Total time on site: forty minutes.

SOLDWinter Haven sellers are lake people first and RV people second. A trailer gets bought the spring after somebody buys a boat, gets used four or five weekends on the Chain of Lakes, then parks beside the house off Cypress Gardens Boulevard or behind a fence in Inwood. Two seasons later the truck is gone. Somebody traded the F-250 for a commuter car, and now a 30-foot bunkhouse sits on jack stands nobody can move. We hear the same sentence in Eloise, Lake Alfred and Auburndale: the camper is fine, we just cannot pull it anymore. That is a towing problem, not a value problem, and we solve towing at our cost.
The other Polk County pattern is the second home that never happened. Retirees buy a fifth wheel intending to snowbird north each summer, then settle permanently into a Winter Haven neighborhood and stop leaving. The rig becomes yard furniture under a live oak. Those units carry low mileage on the axles and heavy sun exposure on top. Value sits almost entirely in the roof, the sidewall seams and whether the slide seals held. Interiors in this group tend to look close to new because nobody actually lived in them.
On a towable, we price the roof before anything else. Send four shots: each corner where the membrane meets the sidewall, the front cap seam, the area around the vents and AC shroud, and any patch or resealed line. A tight roof on a ten-year-old trailer beats a soft one on a four-year-old trailer every time. Clear photos in daylight get you a firm number faster.
Half the calls we take out of Winter Haven start with the seller apologizing because they sold the truck. Nothing to apologize for. We bring the tow rig, the hitch hardware and the plates. You do not rent anything, borrow a neighbor's diesel, or pay a wrecker. If it rolls and the frame is sound, we hook it and go. That cost never comes out of what we pay you.
A lot of homes near the Chain sit on narrow lots with a screened cage, a boat lift or a fence between the trailer and the street. Tell us what the pull-out looks like before we schedule. Gate width, low limbs, soft grass after a wet week, whether a fence panel comes out. We plan around it and bring the right equipment. Surprises on pickup day slow everything down.
Polk County trailers take their worst damage sitting still in June through October. Water finds an aging seam during afternoon storms, and a limb across the roof turns a clean unit into a repair project. If you already know the camper is not going out again, moving it early protects what it is worth. We buy after storm damage too. You just keep more by not waiting.
Text or send us photos and the model year, and we look at the roof shots first. If we need one more angle we ask for it that day. You get a real cash number, not a range designed to shrink when we show up. If you take it, we set a pickup window that works around your schedule and confirm the pull-out details: gate width, which side of the house, whether anyone needs to be home. We come to the property in Winter Haven or anywhere in Polk County with our own tow setup. Title and paperwork get handled right there at the trailer. You get paid the same day, and the spot beside your house is empty again.
Nobody here needs a hitch, a brake controller or a Saturday. We arrive with the equipment and the forms already filled in, and the driveway is clear before dinner.
GET MY OFFER →Yes. We're about 30 minutes north in Davenport and buy across Polk County every week. Bring it in or tell us where it's parked.
More than most owners assume, especially if it's under ten years old and the roof is sound. Put it into the estimator on our homepage for a starting range before you call.
No. Don't spend a dollar on it. We're buying the unit, not the detailing — a clean RV and a dirty one get the same number from us.
Yes. We bring our own tow vehicle and hitch to your address at no charge to you. This is the most common situation we handle in Winter Haven. You do not need to move the trailer an inch, rent equipment, or find someone with a diesel. We handle the pull-out ourselves.
It depends on whether water got into the walls or only sat on the membrane. Surface wear and old sealant cost less than you think. Soft spots, stained ceiling panels or delaminated sidewalls cost more. That is exactly why we ask for roof photos first, so the number we quote is the number we honor.
Usually yes. Sitting hurts tires, batteries and seals, none of which we expect you to fix. Long-parked fifth wheels around Polk County often have clean interiors and low axle wear, which we do pay for. Send photos of the roof, the slide seals and the tires and we will tell you straight.
We do. Water damage is priced, not disqualifying. Show us the floor near the entry door, under the bunks and around any slide, plus the ceiling if it stained. We buy units with soft floors, mold and rotted framing. You do not need to clean it out or air it first.
